Welcome to the Bearspaw School Learning Commons!

The Bearspaw Learning Commons is a bright, inviting centre of activity within the school.

Operating as an extension of the classroom, the Learning Commons offers the option of scheduled weekly classes, where the students can read, exchange library books, or do research. Often the learning centre is home to individual students needing a quiet place to work, and many groups use the space while they collaborate on special projects.

The ten new Chrome Books have replaced the older desk top computers and are very popular with the students. Our new web-based library system (KOHA) provides students with access to the library collection from home or school. We are now offering a selection of ebooks through FollettShelf.

The Learning Commons is a busy, vibrant part of the school community. Come on in and check us out!
