Welcome to 6S! My name is Andrew Sibley and I have the honour of being your teacher this school year. Bearspaw School has been open since the 2002-03 school year. This is the start of my 19th full year at Bearspaw School. I started here on June 1st, 2004 - taking over for a maternity leave. I’ve taught either Grade 5 or Grade 6 or a Grade 5/6 split for every one of those years.

As your homeroom teacher, I will work to provide interesting lessons that relate to real world, 21st Century situations. I hope to prepare you for future years of successful learning by promoting a sense of confidence and pride in your individual strengths and gifts. I think I will be teaching all the subjects to you except for Band and Science (Mr. Bosse)  and French and Art (M. Vance)
